Eraser Tool
Remove parts of shapes by drawing over them with adjustable eraser sizes. Use it to refine drawings, create cutouts, or clean up overlapping shapes.
How to use
- Select the Eraser tool from the toolbar (or press E)
- Click and drag over the parts you want to remove
- Release to complete the erase action
The eraser removes material wherever it passes over existing shapes. A circular cursor shows the eraser size and position.
Eraser sizes
Adjust the eraser size from the context menu at the bottom of the screen. Three sizes are available:
| Size | Description |
|---|---|
| Small | Precise erasing for fine details |
| Medium | General-purpose erasing (default) |
| Large | Quick removal of larger areas |
To change the eraser size:
- Select the Eraser tool
- Click the eraser size option in the context menu
- Select Small, Medium, or Large
The selected size remains active until you change it.
Tips
- Tap once to erase a small circular area at the cursor position
- Drag slowly for more controlled erasing
- The eraser works through all overlapping shapes in its path
- When Mirror mode is enabled, the eraser mirrors your strokes across the symmetry line
- Use Ctrl/Cmd+Z to undo eraser strokes
